Direct Download Link: PixieLive3RC1.iso
md5sum: f08288de176021572cdf929846647eca *PixieLive3RC1.iso
Once downloaded remember to check the md5sum of the iso (md5sum -b PixieLive3RC1.iso) to make sure it is not corrupted
Since LinuxTracker is down, i provide a direct download link

I'm trying to install PixieLive3RC1 on HDD. I configured grub2 as described in other comments :
set root=(hd0,6)
linux /PixieLive3RC1/vmlinuz root=/dev/ram0 resume=/dev/sda5 ramdisk_size=9000
initrd /PixieLive3RC1/initrfs.img
in ubuntu, gparted show :
/dev/sda1 -> /boot (ext4)
/dev/sda2 -> extended
-------/dev/sda5 -> (linux-swap)
-------/dev/sda6 -> / (ext4)
The PixieLive3RC1 directory is on / on /dev/sda6.
The system is booting and now waiting for "Looking for PixieLive3RC1 data in /PixieLice3RC1 ..."
Could you help me please ?

one other question : i do not have a initrd.gz file in the dowloaded iso file.is it right to use initrfs.img located in the boot directory ?
3 From Christian Lorandi -
yes, it is right to use initrfs.img located in the boot directory
it seems like the init script is unable to locate the directory, it could be an ext4 problem or a partitioning problem
let me do some tests, i will let you know if I find an explanation
PS: root=(hd0,6) means /dev/sda7, but since the system boots i suppose you mistyped in the comment

@Qlex:
here we are!
There is a bug in the initrfs.img provided with PixieLive3RC1 which deny ext partitions to be mounted at boot!
Here you can download a corrected version which works also on ext2, ext3 and ext4: initrfs.img
Please let me know if it works also for you, thank you,
Christian
